OASIS Arts Festival Motivates Youth-Oriented Arts Movement in OC

SANTA ANA, CA (3/5/2022) --- OASIS Center International celebrates its 8th Annual Arts Festival in collaboration with Boca de Oro, a Santa Ana Unified School District initiative, on March 5, 2022, 1 PM at Birch Park. Youth inspiration and development is the focal point of all the activities at the festival, and OASIS leverages its arts program to restore arts and cultural enrichment in the youth. Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley, City of Santa Ana Mayor Vincente Sarmiento, Mayor Pro-Tem Phil Bacerra, Council Member Thai Viet Phan, and Assemblymember Janet Nguyen will be present to give special remarks to endorse the arts movement and recognize this year’s high-achieving students.
OASIS Arts Festival welcomes the Orange County community to the various performing arts forms with innovative arts workshops provided for children ages from 6 to 13; Taiko Drumming, Making Music Show, Dance Workshops, STEAM creation, LEGO project, rock painting, and many more. Community Resource Arena (CRA) is facilitated by national/community banks and telecom companies to share key topics from financial/digital literacy, federal resources, and low income programs. In addition to the celebration of the arts, this festival will be hosting banks and telecom/utilities participating in resource table setting, covering key low-income programs for our community members. Corporate sponsors for the festival include T-Mobile, Charter Communications, Island Pacific Supermarket, Pacific Premier Bank, Banc of California, First American Title, Mechanics Bank, US Bank, Umpqua Bank, and Union Bank.
"The pandemic that has shaken the world cannot stop us from dancing," says Jin Sung, Executive Director of OASIS Center International, "I am pleased to see that our students can still smile, make the next groove, and conclude positively about their future." The 2022 OASIS Arts Festival provides the chance for youth attendees to stay active and familiarize themselves with opportunities within the community.
