OASIS Center International Awarded California Arts Council Arts Education and Youth Arts Action Grant State funds support arts programs targeting underserved youth
State funds support artistic residencies in community settings SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (June 5,2019) – Today the California Arts Council announced a grant award of $10,000 to OASIS Center International as part of its Artists in Communities program.
Artists in Communities (AC) centralizes artists and their artistic processes as vehicles for community vitality. AC grants support sustained artistic residencies in community settings. Artists must work closely with organizational partners and community members to produce creative projects that are relevant and responsive to their community.
SANTA ANA, California (January 17, 2019) - The 2019 OASIS Arts Festival opens doors to our youth in understanding the importance of Environmental Sustainability and Equity through various forms of arts education. A day filled with inspiration and curiosity, the arts festival will host over 600 students and their families to explore the subject of environmental sustainability and diversity through visual presentations, workshops, and demonstrations. This event is free of charge to the community.
SANTA ANA, California (September 10, 2018) – OASIS Center International is hosting a benefit to celebrate Arts Education in Orange County. Celebrity athletes, Santa Ana City Council, and CEO’s of the community’s largest corporations and banks will gather together with students in the visual and performing arts to celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s honorees in providing arts programs for local school children.
