OASIS Celebrates 11 Years of Inspiring the youth thru the Arts at the 2023 OASIS Center International Illumination Gala

SANTA ANA, Calif.--Civic and community leaders from across California will gather to celebrate

and support California's foremost arts initiative for underserved communities at the 2023

Illumination Gala, hosted by OASIS Center International. "Art and the act of creating it enriches our community and our lives," said Jin Sung, OASIS Center International's Founder and Executive Director.

"We are proud that OASIS Center International has provided free afterschool opportunities for thousands of young people from across Southern California to engage in performance, visual and industrial arts. Our work is made possible by mentors, volunteers, corporate partners, area schools, and generous donors who believe the arts illuminate our path to a brighter future. OASIS

With over a decade of service to the community, OASIS Center International celebrates their 11th annual Illumination Gala this month. This evening is not to be missed!

Please join us as we recognize the students who participate in OASIS Center programs, the partnerships which empower our growth, and the special contributions from our endlessly dedicated awardees:

Partnership Awardee, Clint Stein (Chief Executive Officer, Umpqua Bank) Education Awardee, Katy Ramezani, Ed.D. (Director, Educational Programs andServices, Orange County Department of Education).Community Awardee, Johnathan Hernandez (Councilmember - Ward 5, City of Santan Ana)

The event features performances by OASIS Center Alumni and area artists, local flow artists, a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction, live auction, and raffle. There will be several opportunities to directly support the OASIS mission through our fundraising options from silent to live auctions. We will appreciate the work of our students, network directly with the local artists and educators who have impacted so many young lives. We are so proud of the accomplishments this community has achieved and the young lives that have been transformed. Scheduled guests include strategic partners, corporate partners, local businesses, civic leaders, local artists, and youth from Sunburst Youth Academy.
