OASIS Center International Hosts 8th Annual 2021 Illumination Gala

SANTA ANA, California – OASIS Center International, a non-profit community development organization focused on bringing arts to youths of underserved areas, is pleased to announce it will be hosting its 8th annual Illumination Gala to celebrate its mission in the arts and community and to honor outstanding champions of arts education. The reception will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the historic Bowers Museum located at 2002 North Main Street, Santa Ana, California 92706. The 2021 theme of “Art Builds” captures OASIS’s aim to build stronger and more resilient local communities by nurturing the inherent creative gifts of children to reach their highest potential.

 

The Gala will include an award ceremony honoring: Steve Gardner, Chairman and CEO of Pacific Premier Bank; Faith Bautista, President and CEO of the National Diversity Coalition; and Rebecca Vichiquis, Director of Contra Costa County Office of Education. 

 

Ms. Jin Sung, OASIS Center International’s Founder and Executive Director, together with the esteemed Board of Directors, Advisory Board and Artist Council are delighted to safely return in-person for this important event since the pandemic started, and welcome our valued guests.

The 2021 Illumination Gala serves as a major fundraiser for OASIS Center International. The evening will also include a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction, raffle and include performances from the talented Mackenzie Shimon, and Jason Rodgers.
