OASIS Arts Festival Inspires Youth Creativity and Community Engagement in Los Angeles County
Los Angeles, CA (3/03/2025) – OASIS Center International’s Annual Arts Festival celebrated arts in collaboration with the 24th Street Elementary School, a Santa Ana Unified School District initiative, on March 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 2055 W. 24th St, Los Angeles, CA 90018.
Centered around this year’s theme—”Art Multiplies”, the festival emphasized how creativity and community engagement can amplify artistic expression and opportunities for young people. Inspiring and developing youth were the focal points of all festival activities, supporting OASIS’ mission of empowering youth through art programs and enhancing the skills and opportunities of local artists through community engagement.
“Art is a passion that positively affects our community. I love to see the looks on students’ faces when they discover their passion for art, one that not only positively impacts our community but their future," said Jin Sung, Executive Director of OASIS Center International.
The 2025 OASIS Arts Festival provided youth attendees the chance to stay active by engaging with their community and exploring a variety of visual, performing, and industrial art forms. The festival welcomed Los Angeles County and surrounding communities to enjoy an array of performances and innovative art workshops for children ages 6 to 13—student performances, making music show, dance workshops, magic show, STEAM creation, rock painting, color your own postcards, Lego, Kids can Cosplay, flow art, and much more.
Furthermore, the festival featured representatives from banks, telecommunication providers, government, and utility companies who shared essential information about available resources and critical low-income assistance programs for community members. The Community Resource Arena served as a platform for informative discussions covering topics such as financial literacy, digital access, housing resources, health-related resources, and various federal assistance programs.
Corporate sponsors for the event included T-Mobile, US Bank, Banc of California, Mechanics Bank, and Pacific Premier Bank. The 2025 OASIS Arts Festival was free of charge to the community.
