SANTA ANA, CA (3/25/2023) ---OASIS Center International’s 9th Annual Arts Festival will celebrate arts in collaboration with the 24th Street Elementary School, a Los Angeles Unified School District initiative, on March 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at 2055 W. 24th St, Los Angeles, CA 90018.

Inspiring and developing young people are the focal points of all festival activities and support OASIS’ mission of inspiring young people through art programs and enhancing the skills and opportunities of local artists through community engagement.

“Art is a passion that positively affects our community. I love to see the looks on students’ faces when they discover their passion for art, one that not only positively impacts our community, but their future," Jin Sung, Executive Director of OASIS Center International.

The 2023 OASIS Arts Festival provides youth attendees the chance to stay active by familiarizing them with their community and exploring a variety of visual, performing, and industrial art forms. The festival welcomes Orange County and surrounding communities to enjoy a variety of performances and innovative art workshops for children ages 6 to 13—Making Music Show, Dance Workshops, STEAM creation, rock painting, and many more.

In addition to celebrating the arts, the festival will host banks, telecommunication, and utility companies that will provide valuable information about resources and key low-income programs for community members. Community Resource Arena also will facilitate key topics from financial and digital literacy, federal resources, and low-income programs.

Corporate sponsors for the event include T-Mobile, Charter Communications, Pacific Premier Bank, Banc of California, and Union Bank. Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly Mitchell, City of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, LA City Council Heather Hutt, State Assembly Member Issac Bryan, and State Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas will give remarks promoting the arts and recognizing this year’s high-achieving students.
